Angela Kim, MD- VitreoRetinal Surgery Fellow

Angela Kim, MD graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology, Bachelor of Arts in Economics, and minor in Philosophy from the University of Washington where she received a full academic scholarship given to two incoming students in the freshmen class. Dr. Kim moved to Chicago and received her Doctor of Medicine from Rosalind Franklin University in 2018 with Distinction in Basic Sciences and awarded Outstanding Senior Project. She did her preliminary year in Internal Medicine at the University of Kentucky where she received Intern Teaching Award then stayed to complete her ophthalmology residency serving as Chief Resident. Outside of medicine she enjoys powerlifting, hiking, playing video games and piano, spending time with loved ones, and traveling.
