In my opinion, Retina Associates of Kentucky are the number one eye specialists. In 2018 I was diagnosed with macular degeneration in my right eye. Dr. John Kitchens became my doctor. He has been a great doctor examining both my eyes and administering medication to my right eye on a regular basis. He is always pleased to answer any questions I have. All of the employees that greet you, give you eye tests, take eye pictures, prepare you for an eye injection and schedule your next appointment are very friend...

I've been getting shots in my eye for about 18 months now and Dr. Ricca (my last visit) was outstanding. He explained everything well, which was usual but when it was time for the shot it was over almost before it began. He was quick, efficient and it was almost painless, almost. There is always some pain when you get a needle in the eye but Dr. Ricca was great.

Friendly, knowledgable, made all results and options clear. Will be back!!!
