Jeffrey C. Powell, MD, MS is a vitreoretinal surgery fellow at Retina Associates of Kentucky, primarily serving patients in Lexington, KY.
He attended college at The University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, followed by medical school and residency at Wake Forest School of Medicine in Winston-Salem. He is grateful for the opportunity to continue his training in Lexington and to serve patients in Kentucky.
Alongside his medical training, Dr. Powell started and volunteers for a non-profit which supports children with limb differences, called The Helping Hand Project.
Dr. Powell spends most of his free time with his growing family. He loves cooking for family and friends, listening to music, playing guitar, spending time outdoors, and swimming.
